The approach is selected according to gestational age, the clinical question and examination conditions. In early pregnancy or for selected assessments, transvaginal ultrasound may provide a more useful image.
Askabide has volumetric transvaginal probes compatible with GE Voluson E8 systems. Volume acquisition and 3D/4D tools may be used where helpful, but indication and interpretation remain clinical.
