Week 36
Possible start of late-pregnancy monitoring according to the individual plan.
Within our follow-up protocol we may start weekly recordings from week 36. Frequency is adapted to the clinical situation and coordination with hospital care.
Reactivity refers to the cardiotocography trace, not to “a reactive pregnancy”. A reactive trace is generally reassuring for the recorded period when interpreted with gestational age, symptoms and clinical context.
One recording cannot predict everything that happens later. Monitoring does not replace attention to warning symptoms or other examinations.
Possible start of late-pregnancy monitoring according to the individual plan.
Usually weekly recording together with clinical review.
Frequency and place of follow-up are coordinated with the reference hospital.
A clear reduction in fetal movements, bleeding, fluid loss, painful regular preterm contractions, severe pain, headache with visual changes or feeling significantly unwell require urgent clinical assessment rather than waiting for the next trace.
What should be assessed without delay.
Open informationWe present monitoring from week 36 as Askabide’s closer follow-up protocol. We do not claim it should be universal for every pregnancy or that it replaces Osakidetza protocols.
General information only. It does not replace an individual medical assessment or recommendation.
